I looked at my Ohio sample ballot today [View all]

On Issue 2, about legalizing use of cannabis. If passed, there would be a 10% tax added, on top of the 7% + sales tax. The extra money would go to specific funds: adult use, then quarterly to cannabis social equity and jobs fund, host community cannabis facilities fund, substance abuse and a control agency to be created.

I'm not going to use it myself, but I think 17% tax on an item is steep. I haven't voted yet, wondering if I should vote yes on this one?
