I believe Shapiro will beat his Repuke opponent Mastriano. Mastriano is a RWNJ and a Jan.6th insurgent ChumpHumper all rolled into one. Mastriano IS truly a nutcase, but he won't be in a position to refuse to certify the election. Outgoing Gov. Wolf and about-to-be-elected Gov. Shapiro will keep that tightly wrapped up.

As far as Lancaster goes, yes it's a red-turning-purple county. However the mailed primary ballots were mis-printed with the wrong barcode and it seems that only the Repuke ballots were affected. We were talking about this earlier on DU because it created a problem when Lancaster officials had to redo something like 14,000 ballots by hand. That affected the local candidates too, and now they're looking to secure (or improve) their numbers.

Nobody notices or cares much about the local elections, but the Governor and the US Senator races are getting a lot of interest.
