2. Oh, I've been there. What a great place.

The parking lot was full of tour buses. Grandparents flooded the insides, buying stuff for the grandkids.

I bought a mountain parka. The velcro that held a front pocket closed was sewn correctly. It was an easy fix. That parka would otherwise have become an L. L. Bean Baxter State Park parka.

That and a pair of snowmobile gloves. Great for driving a motorcycle in the winter.

Sad to see it close.
