wore like iron, stayed looking great and I never knew a winter wind and cold that could penetrate them. Yes they cost more but you could have them forever with some basic care. The same with Pendleton wool shirts from back in the day. Before the age of planned obsolescence. You could selectively build your wardrobe from classic styles and good quality a little at a time and then have them forever.
