I'm guessing maybe the employee who got arrested is black? Since the change purse was left behind (not taken directly from the customer) the employee could have said he intended to return it to the customer. But the police would never believe that if a black man said it. This is only about a couple of dollars, am I right? Most change purses can only hold a few dollars worth of quarters and dimes.
