Father charged after confessing to breaking 2-month-old's leg: Police

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) A father in Pennsylvania has been charged after he confessed to police he was responsible for breaking his 2-month-old's leg.
A criminal investigator with the Hampden Township Police received a call from Children and Youth Services (CYS) on August 26 concerning a 2-month-old being treated at Hershey Medical Center.
According to medical personnel at Hershey Medical, the 2-month-old was being treated for a fractured femur that was medically identified as child abuse. According to police documents, the medical team determined it was due to the location and type of fracture.
The officer proceeded to interview the parents of the victim, Madison Emig and Nicholas Beers, with CYS employee Christina Gorman. ... According to records, Emig said that at the time of the incident, she was working for DoorDash from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, August 25. ... Emig said she returned home from her shift to find the baby crying and inconsolable, according to police documents.
