State police were called to Pa. home Sunday where they found 90 dogs, most packed in kennels stacked on top of each other in an “unimaginable” scene.

Volunteers from eight humane societies were called in to help rescue the dogs, which included breeds from Pomeranians to Beagles to Labrador Retrievers, according to WTAJ. The home was located on Old Route 220 in Bedford borough in Bedford County.

Joe Zolna, board president of the Central PA Humane Society in Blair County told WTAJ it was the worst scene he had ever witnessed while working with the humane society. “It’s just unimaginable,” he told the news crew.
