Township lost all control, highest rates in the state and the water tastes terrible. Was sold to a German company called AQUA. Only way to even contemplate this is if in the sole discretion of the local authority, if the quality, costs or taste become unacceptable, the local authority can repurchase the utility for price for which it was sold. No company in its right mind would agree to that but it is the only way to assure reasonableness of rates and so on for perpetuity.
