girls how to advertise, promote the product, handle the finances and deliver the product.

When I heard how much they made/box, I told the granddaughters' parents I would give the girls' troop a check as a donation, but did not want any cookies because they were basically doing the advertising, selling and delivery while the company was making mega bucks with little or no effort beyond making/delivering the cookies to the troop.

Same goes for many of the school's money-making projects. The last one I bought was a can of so-called Supreme Cashews. The only thing supreme about them was the supremely thick/wadded cellophane packing that filled up the can and only allowed 3/4 cup of cashews for $7.50. The kids were even embarrassed.
