Is there a number of measles cases we're hoping to exceed? How many deaths?

I am actually enraged at the measles outbreaks. Measles can and should be eradicated completely, because there is no non human source for measles. Rather like smallpox.

I'm old enough that I had measles (as well as chicken pox and mumps) as a child. So I've spent much of my life thinking these are trivial illnesses. Well. I'm completely wrong about that.

Read Booster Shots by Adam Ratner. I thought I knew a lot about epidemiology, and this book taught me a whole lot more.
