Texas is at the top for wind energy and very close to the top for solar. Thank you for the enlightenment. Then, what in the hell is the problem? The grid? No storage capacity?
Is it largely under the control of the Texas gov't.? If there are enough homeowners with solar panels and a storage system there shouldn't be a huge problem.
For the record, I will continue to bash Texas at every opportunity, more specifically, the politicians and the voters that put them there, period.
But, when I'm wrong, I'm wrong. Now I need to know why energy in Texas is such a problem.
