Everett women steal $2.5K of merchandise, including quinceanera dress, police say [View all]
EVERETT A group of female suspects stole approximately $2,500 worth of merchandise, including a quinceanera dress, on Sept. 9 from a boutique in Everett.
Around 2:30 p.m. Sept. 9, officers responded to a report of four female suspects who allegedly robbed Las Tres Beautifuls Boutique in the 9600 block of Evergreen Way. Some of the women had children with them at the time, Everett police spokesperson Natalie Given said.
While some of the suspects distracted the owner, others hid merchandise under their ankle-length skirts before all four suspects fled together, an Everett Police Department press release said.
When the owner attempted to stop them from leaving and requested the merchandise be returned, the suspects physically restrained her and tried to stop her from calling the police. The altercation continued to the parking lot, where the suspects fled in a minivan, the release said. The suspects allegedly struck the owner with the van as they drove away.
