It is not about being fair. It is about being treated as special because it involves 'religion'.
Face it, the evangelical aspect of religion is just not going to stop until they are forced to. And, even then they can make trouble because there are some in positions of power who are just as... involved... in their religion as those who are trying to force their beliefs on everyone because they know they are right.
