4. A Civil Lawsuit will be filed against the city

as has happened in almost every police shooting case.
This tragedy will be no different. We see more civil awards being justified by the courts, and this case has too much evidence to prove police took actions beyond a normal, safe manner.

The city of Kenosha will have to pay the family damages.

With more civil cases being won, we should see legislative reforms, and we will in many states and possibly at the federal level.

Unfortunately, we are in Wisconsin, whose legislative branch is gerrymandered by Republicans and they have shown how they operate. They are likely to create more voting restrictions, hindrances and obstructions.
Wisconsin's GOP Trumpies are a dangerous lot, and we must purge them from our government, our society and our businesses. We do not have any need for any of 'those kinds of people'.
Wisconsin will not get preferential treatment by the Biden administration until the gerrymandering is gone and Republicans are replaced with logically thinking legislators in 2022 and 2024.
Sen Ron Johnson is up in 2022 as is the entire State Assembly, and one third of the State Senate is also up in 2022.

Now is the time, to create our 'Stacy Abrams' activists and get moving.
