They've been challenging the property taxes for what seems like decades. It's ridiculous that they spend so much money on lawyers for that, but investing in decent staffing and clinic/hospital infrastructure has gotten short shrift for as long.

So much whining that they can't hire nurses, but it's bull. They just can't hire nurses for the crap wages, benefits, and hours they want to pay.

I am afraid Marshfield will soon be like Neillsville - reduced to specialized care only and triaging emergency patience before sending them to Wausau.
