7. So this map proposal is almost exactly the same partisanship-wise as GOPs last map

As far as D and R proportions I think this map is exactly the same as the one Evers vetoed. That’s the only reason I don’t think he is as gung ho about this one as he was when he first proposed it. We will see soon enough if I’m right though.

Another way of looking at it would be why would Evers approve this map (which is the same as the previous GOP gerrymander)when Dems could get a much better deal if they just let the state Supreme Court decide it?
