Was not aware of it and should be very successful at blocking infections.

Sadly Edge seems built to advertise to you.

An interesting article that compares it to Chromes effort in the same area with site isolation, which handles each page in its own process.

I would suspect that the windows solution is much better as it is basically spinning off a temporary VM as I understand it which isolates the browsing completely.
