5. not sure it is bluetooth - Microsoft Mobile Mouse 4000

Progress - I got out my laptop (tired of trying to read and post from my tablet). The MS mouse does not work on the laptop. The Logitech mouse DOES work on my husband's laptop. He's going to bring it back downstairs to see if it will work on my desktop with the MS mouse unplugged.

OK, just as I typing, my husband brought the Logitech in and it works fine on the desktop computer. I guess the MS mouse was screwed up and since its dongle was still plugged in, it was blocking the other mouse from working.
