Source on-line for laptop battery: any suggestions? [View all]

I have an old HP laptop that needs a new battery. Staples is too expensive, in fact I did not even check them.
Just had my computer man work on my desktop(Win 10) but the battery on the laptop is dead. I was told that I can use it plugged in but I'd like to get a new battery.

Can anyone on DU suggest a reliable source(s) ? There are so many on-line sellers and I will have to search for a reliable seller who might have a battery for this old HP. I don't use it much because it still has Windows 7 but for my needs, it is fine.

If you have any suggestions and don't want to post the name, you could message me with the names and I can search for the best deal I can find?

I would appreciate any help as my funds are limited and any saving would be a great help.
