3. As a test, try connecting to your router's configuration webpage.

Go to Settings > WiFi > [info icon for your current connection] and scroll down to find the IP address listed under Router. Type that into your Safari address bar to see if you get a connection (should be a login page - assuming your router has web based configuration enabled).

If that works, there may be a DNS (domain name system) problem. Try temporarily changing the DNS setting to manual for your WiFi connection and using Google's DNS servers at 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. Now try going to a normal website (e.g. www.democraticunderground.com).

Also try that in FireFox (or whatever other browsers you have) if it's not working in Safari.

Does any error message display when you fail to connect to a website?
