Can't load Words with friends 2 on my phone [View all]

I had Words with Friends 2 on my phone. I have had nothing but trouble with it since I installed it several months ago. I uninstalled it once a few months ago, and reinstalled it, but the problems persisted. I like playing the solo games, and I learned that if it got stuck, I could force stop the app and then go back and continue where I left off. Yesterday, I lost the last game of the series and the game got stuck on processing. I waited for over 2 hours and tried force stop several times with no change. I finally uninstalled the app, and tried several times last night and this morning to reload it, but keep getting error messages. I went through the Google Play trouble-shooting steps, such as clearing the cache,uninstalling Google Play and reinstalling it, nothing is helping.

I have enough free space on my phone, the phone has an adequate platform. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S3. I don't know if my Internet connection is strong enough to download a game. I got several messages yesterday that I was offline in the house, even though the cable modem had all the lights on and working. My laptop was working okay, too. The only devices I have on are the phone and the laptop. I tried switching the phone over to its plan, and that didn't help either.

I tried downloading Words Classic, but it won't download either.

Any ideas? I am supposed to be getting a new phone, but I don't understand why the game apps downloaded and worked before, but won't download and work now.
