Why should I trust them now?

I used to love looking through new fonts and even bought some direct from the artists.

The sheer abundance of fonts now is overwhelming and 90% of them are crap, same as it ever was.

If you don't have a CC subscription and are using old Adobe software those fonts might still work Auggie Oct 2022 #2
