Wine goes most wrong with proprietary software developed with highly proprietary tools, generally those developers who have signed hefty NDAs with Microsoft.

I rarely have any use for this kind of proprietary software and all the computer games I'm interested in are very old so Wine mostly "just works" for me.

Sometimes I must resort to a modern Windows machine to set up devices like printers or radios. I find this highly annoying. The Windows machine I use for those purposes was retrieved from an e-waste bin and is registered to a fictional biscuit company.
