Recommended button and 5 Newest button not working on some discussions [View all]

I cannot find a pattern for discussions for which these buttons work and those for which they do not work. It is not the biggest issue in my life, but just curious if others experience this or is it just my computer: Win 10, any browser.
Expected behavior: Click on button and relevant answers are highlighted, along with button clicked.
Actual behavior: Click on button and nothing changes.
