I need a new laptop. [View all]

I need a new laptop and would love some recommendations. Mine is literally falling apart, seriously falling apart. One hinge is broken so I can't close it all the way and when I open it I kinda have to push the screen and innards back in place!

Mine is a Samsung, notebook, tablet, whatever. I was on a budget at the time and that is all I could afford.

I want a decent size screen that I can touch to expand a portion of the text etc....as opposed to hitting amplify 100 150 175% that knocks the text off the screen! Price 500 ish?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
