I had to fly to Honolulu nonstop and I always bring my iPad and my MBP on board for security and to watch movies, usually on the iPad with great battery life.
Well, I discovered that because I had changed the settings the day before my flight to prevent the iPad from going to sleep that the battery was near dead.
Older Macbooks have not had the long life of several hours to watch movies and TV shows that the iPad had so I thought I was screwn.
Well, that MBP gave me five hours of use inflight and never dropped below 50% battery remaining.
30 Rock is my show of choice on flights-- I need to buy a couple more seasons as I've watched all the ones I have.
