That said, and even having been to Taiwan 3-4 times, Mainland China 6-7 times, marrying a Chinese women, and still not speaking Chinese....

I was once taking a bus somewhere in Sichuan up a mountain. The bus company was called, in pinyin, of course. Long Dong.
