sounds about right - oh, heavens, a professor who was WRONG, and just couldn't let it go..it didn't have to go this far...

In 2018, an online sociology class received attention when a student in a received a poor grade on a project comparing social norms in the United States with another country. The student selected Australia and lost points on the assignment when the professor stated "Australia is a continent; it is not a country.

" After "independent research" the professor corrected the grade but continued to caution the student to "make sure the date, the facts, and the information you provide in your report is about Australia the country and not Australia the continent."

Independent research..and yet he still couldn't let it go...
