A local live theater sent a couple of female manikins from the costume shop to the warehouse for storage, and whoever dropped them off just left them standing by the large loading door. Neither manikin had any clothes on.

A few days later, in an unrelated incident, one of the large riding mowers caught fire. It was parked right outside the warehouse and next to the loading door. So the wall started to char and smoke was going all over the place.

The fire department shows up, throws open the door, sees two "naked persons" standing by the door and turns their fire extinguishers on them. When the smoke and foam finally cleared, they realized they were manikins.

I can just imagine the talk at the firehouse later that day: "So, Joe, saved any cute manikins recently?"
