a customer with a complaint

Guy was easy to find as he was lost getting out of the parking lot.

For some as yet unknown reason guy throws a bottle of castor oil out of the car and the owner shoots him in the back on the way out.

I can't help thinking the owner was just waiting for an excuse to shoot someone. I know a few people like that. One of them had a store in a crime-ridden neighborhood and had a shotgun handy under the counter.

There's a backstory here-- the complainer was complaining about a friend of his being mugged in the parking lot. Has the store, the neighborhood, or any of those involved been involved in such problems before?

I know some courts have expanded SYG to ridiculous extremes, but it's not intended to include shooting in the back someone fleeing. Is it?
