MISSOULA, Mont. — A grass fire that scorched the bottom of Ravalli Hill Sunday afternoon was caused by an electrocuted bear falling from a power pole, according the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes Division of Fire.

CSKT Fire Information Officer C.T. Camel said the fire was reported around 2 p.m. The fire was quickly put out.

It is believed to have been started when a bear climbed a power pole and was electrocuted, Camel said.
