1. I had a roommate who did something like this.

It was a mushroom brew made with some kind of "healing" fungus given to her by a friend. She had this fermenting in room temperature water and sipped it throughout the day. She offered it to me, but I thought it looked gross.
She became violently ill, poor young lady.
