1. Beware New Year market mood

January can have ups and downs, beginnings and reversals. First day, often, nothing much happens. Then we have a trend day. That could carry til the 10th or reverse the following day. MLK Day often marks an imminent reversal of the trend. I'm keeping any plays short-term.
