How can any contract anywhere now be enforced?

Trump did this in the private sector--stiffing contractors, refusing to honor legal agreements, and he mostly got away with it.

Of course, this only works in the one direction. Powerful entities, major corporations, millionaires and billionaires can stiff anyone they like, and contracts be damned.

But should any of us peons decide not to make mortgage or car or rent payments, and watch how quickly the hammer comes down.
