required to choose four boys in each class to receive many hours of additional attention.

Students had to be Hispanic or black.

How did we know someone was Hispanic? Well, they had a nonwhite last name. Never mind how they got their last name (marriage, adoption, etc.).

How about other kids who needed help like girls or Eastern European immigrants or Asian or.

The whole program was racist
and useless.

And infuriating to staff.
