These parents need to file a federal lawsuit.

One of the great untold stories is how over the last few decades individuals have become millionaires peddling "education" material to public schools. Most of the material is riddled with errors and worthless but they have political connections and get away with it. About a decade ago I remember there was a call for a federal investigation and hearings but that got squashed by members of congress. Surprise.

This has become a business that generates hundreds of millions and more people are sticking their hand in the public school cookie jar. There has been growing concern about this and you can bet it is tied to the push for private and charter schools. This way it will be even easier to hide.
