This article from Randall Munroe shows how the earth has warmed over the last 22,000 years. Most people do not know that in the last ice age, the global temperature was a mere 5 degrees C. cooler than the 1960's. We have warmed up more in the last 75 years than in the previous 10,000 years. Take your time and scroll through the chart. Mr. Munroe provides a good bit of history information and some rather funny blurbs too. Read the last paragraph before the chart, that contains the dire circumstances we are soon to face.
