Economics make it highly unlikely that any drilling will occur here any time soon. Season is short, weather prohibitive and getting supplies and people is expensive. Not to mention the area lacks infrastructure to get oil out.

Economics is currently hindering any drilling but government subsidies and future innovation could change the narrative at some point.
