1. Polyester clothing is everything today

All cotton socks are hard to find. In the 70s socks were maybe half-cotton, 30% polyester. Now 92% polyester, 6% cotton, 2% spandex. Common to find 100% polyester fabrics. And they try to make a big deal of recycled materials.
