... raises a question that I am surprised no one else has asked: How much of the steady, decades long rise in the frequency of Autism, Attention Deficit Disorder, and other mental maladies might be attributable to the ingestion of chemical compounds since the end of WWII? We know for a fact that mercury, for instance, increases in concentration as it progresses through the food chain, so that by the time it reaches tuna, it poses a real danger to humans that consume that seafood.
It seems to me that this is, at the very least, a phenomenon worthy of further research. OOPS! I said the "R" word! Now Trump will withhold funding for that, too, asshole that he is.
It may be that it is ongoing research that I just haven't heard about, but the question stands.
Thoughts, anyone? It would be grand fun to wallop the Lesser Kennedy upside the head with facts that support this hypothesis.
