1. In Europe, hydrogen is made from dangerous natural gas with exergy destruction.

The Germans shut ammonia plants, where hydrogen was made by steam reforming of dangerous natural gas, because their pal Putin, who was funded by Germany when they phased out nuclear power, cut their natural gas off.

Hydrogen is a fossil fuel driven shell game which is conducted at great cost to humanity.

It's telling that the advertisers who come here to rebrand fossil fuels as hydrogen also attack nuclear energy, since nuclear energy is the only tool there is for phasing out dangerous fossil fuels.

I reported recently on a scientific paper as opposed to a slick ad offering a lie that hydrogen is carbon free, the carbon cost of hydrogen production, a cost which is unacceptable:

A fairly comprehensive review of the carbon cost of hydrogen production by various pathways. While the paper itself referenced in that post requires access - which as a scientist I have - the supplemental information, containing the carbon cost of hydrogen production is open sourced.

Irrespective of all the methods listed, the overwhelming method by which hydrogen on this planet is produced is by the SMR reaction, steam methane reforming. The carbon dioxide was product from this exergy destroying practice is dumped into the planetary atmosphere, where it is causing collapse.

Anyone can read it and clearly understand that anyone stating anything using hydrogen is carbon free is lying.

Have a nice weekend.
