Product review: Vegetarian Plus Kung Pao Chicken [View all]

http://vegetarian-plus.com/product/vegan-kung-pao-chicken/

Before we tried this, we had a few other products from the company. First off, with the exception of the sauce, the 'meat' tastes the same from product to product. It's okay, so don't get me wrong on that.

This one, however? Paul and I each tried a little bit of sauce when we opened the package. We very nearly threw the whole thing away. But we decided to see if heating it would change anything. It did. It make it heated stuff that should have been thrown away.

The 'meat' again had the exact same initial taste as the rest of their products. The sauce was...what's the word? Oh, icky. Hours after we ate it, we were still belching the flavor, and couldn't get it out of our mouths no matter what we did.

I'm not saying don't try this product, but do proceed with caution.
