Has Russia now making small but continual (if costly) advances on the ground - for a current picture of 'territory' and ebb and flow at that level. Recognizing that that is not the entire story - it is still difficult to find sources that see Ukraine as having greater reserves of resources (in terms of either equipment, manpower, or economic reserves) that would exceed (or outlast) those of their belligerent counterpart. Where do these resources come from (for either side?) on the 3rd year of this grueling and exhausting conflict? The manpower and troops? The U.S. seems ready to wash its hands ... Will the remainder of "the West" step forward .. ? Manpower .. troops .. ? For another 3, 4, 5 years?

Here's a link without paywall - - slightly dated but echoing what a large proportion of opinion on the conflict reads right at the moment. And as mentioned - Dear Donald certainly hasn't improved the picture in the near term ...
