7. I'm trying to understand what's been happening before Hamas attack

It seems to me that the future solutions can only be found in understanding the recent (10 years? 30?) past as experienced by everyone involved.

I see the obvious is a 2-state solution, then something similar to Rwanda’s Truth and Reconciliation initiative.

The CNN article doesn’t say how long the Israeli government has arrested and imprisoned Palestinians without charges of legal remedies. It seems important to know, to stop the injustice of that practice. I admit that, as the mother of a daughter in law enforcement and a son in federal prison, that particular piece of information disturbed me greatly.
