11. From the article it's not clear for what offences they have publicly flogged executed men

But the article says:

In the past year alone, Taliban-appointed judges ordered 417 public floggings and executions, according to Afghan Witness, a research group monitoring human rights in Afghanistan. Of these, 57 were women.

While I agree that stoning women (or anyone for that matter) for adultery is appalling in the extreme, and that women and girls clearly suffer horrifically more than men under the Taliban, it appears that men have suffered the large majority of the public floggings and executions that have been meted out across all offenses. I guess we'll have to wait to see how that changes following this announcement.
