Conley seems like a guy who gives the big baby whatever he wants. Perhaps he's secretly counting the royalties from the tell all book he's going to write once Dumdum is out. Who knows?

He's at least somebody Dumdum can bully.

ETA: I didn't say the same training, I said the same internships.
