Anyone watch any of the cooking or baking shows on netflix? [View all]
Right now I'm watching the Great British Baking show and I can't figure out how the judges manage to taste all 10, (at the beginning) pastries or baking submissions at a time.
I just wonder if they get sick from eating such a large amount of sugary pastry in a sitting. And they don't take little tastes. It seems like that take generous portion tastes.
Maybe it's just me because I have stomach issues and can't eat that much sugary sweet things at a time.
It's very interesting watching these bakers do their thing. I never realized how specific baking is. I actually have always sucked at it.
The other one I watched was Chef's table and it was interesting to see all the disgusting things they threw in a pot and called fabulous!
I remember one time there was a goat's head? (unless I dreamed this) Other things were sea anemones - those spiky purple things that they cut in 1/2 and ate. And then all the organ meats that they thought were great.
Maybe it's me but yuck!
Who else has watched what?
