I can sometimes carry on if its clearly fantasy like Star Wars, but the in-between stuff is painful.

Gravity was painful.

I will take a pass on Ad Astra...

My Scots ancestors could be flaming racist assholes. It took my grandfather's generation to get over it.

Like they should talk, hiding the Irish in them.

My grandfather called my wife the "Mexican girl."

Men in his Wild West family did not marry Mexican girls. He boycotted our wedding.

To his credit he got over it.
