IMO most Muppet ventures have paled in comparison to those produced under creator Jim Henson, especially The Muppet Show (1976-1981). ABCs brief series, The Muppets (2015-2016) came the closest.

I've always thought the Muppets were best in short sketch scenarios. It allowed for Henson and Company to be at their most creative and zany.
