1. Of all the Anne Boleyn documentaries out there, this one is by far the most accurate.

There's a lot of paraphrasing of Anne and Henry's letters to today's language, and the dialog is also modernized and the actors sometimes speak directly to camera, which may be helpful to some viewers' understanding. Nevertheless, there's none of the "Anne Boleyn, scheming opportunist" interpretation here. I teach this stuff and honestly believe they come closest to the real woman and her relationship with the king.
